I had a lovely time tonight with Lyn and her friends. Thanks for having me girls. For a change we made a box for cards or it could be used for anything else really…. I made a few cards and a “special” box for Lyn as a thank you. I really like how it turned out so I thought I would snap some photos of them… enjoy…

It feels like such a long time since I made a card to show you all. As a scrapbooker I find it a little tricky to start..Scrapbooking you have a photo to get the ball rolling with colours and styles…cards you kinda have to think on your own two feet. Well I am happy to say that this morning I was able to make not one card but two…yes….you can get your jaw off the floor now… and here they are

Just wanted to show you the card I made from my Bryan’s baby sister…well she isn’t really a “baby” she was born one day shy of a year later than Bryan..

I hope she liked it…I really enjoy making cards when I know someone else will feel special… This card was inspired by the amazingly talented Teneale Williams, Sydney.

I just wanted to say thank you to Thelma and Narelle for having me today for a workshop in Korumburra, South Gippsland. I truly enjoyed myself and look forward to creating more with you in the future

I have so much to show and tell you all so get comfy. First of all I want to wish my handsome hubby a Happy 37th Birthday today. He so not a birthday person and hates people making a fuss over him but secretly I think he loves it, especially if he can get out of something by saying “but it’s my birthday”…he will use that for days!!!.

I am happy though that he didn’t rush out the door as usual at 6:45am for work and allowed himself a sleep in and for a change. You would think being self employed he would do this more often, but no, he is very strict with himself about being on the job on time…. so I decided to give him his present which I had hiding in Ashton’s cupboard for months… he tried to guess all of yesterday… I think he may of been a little disappointed but I find it very hard to buy for him and I have to think practical… I once made him a scrapbook album…I don’t think he has looked at it since.LOL

Yes 2 x stainless steel 1800 x1500 shelving for his shed… It hold 300 kilo’s per shelf so I thought it would be good….I mean if he doesn’t like it I’ll have it for my scrapping stuff hehe….

Now ladies I had the lovely Ros drop my camera off to me yesterday… so here is THE MAY SKETCH CHALLENGE….

I am very excited to see a full page for my layout… It was hard doing one in 20 minutes (that is why it is so simple) Not sure I like it much but what could I do in 20 minutes LOL…

Now…what have I left out…oh yes some recent work…. Here is a card, a layout and a couple of boxes (I have made for a make N take this weekend) I really wanted to highlight, how punches can be used in so many projects..it has been great to be able to sit down and do some stamping finally….

Just wanted to pop in and tell you all is okay after the car incident…One of the most scariest moments in my life but it’s all good.

I just got back from dinner with 8 other Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from my upline’s team. It was great to catch up and just chill….will have a photo soon

I am so in love with everything in the new mini!!! The papers are just so divine, I know I have probably said that already….BUT THEY ARE!! This is a awesome stamp set called Big on Spring and it’s $35.95. There are two other stamps in the set, a wedding and a love one…so cute! I can see myself using them alot! I can’t believe it is Sunday already. Here is my card for last weeks sketch challenge. I am not sure if I like it but it will do….

Went to Coal Creek and trick or treated on Friday night and well here’s my costume….what do you think?, crazy huh.!??! I rather make people laugh (especially my kids) then scare them. The kids were Superman and Supergirl but it got a little cold, hench the jumpers over the top.

And to top off a great weekend I had my friend Vanessa stay over last night and we scrapped till the wee hours, which was so fun. I finally finished that layout too Ness… Here’s how it came out.

Now for this weeks challenge. I think I will go with a colour challenge this week inspired by a forum/ store (  http://scrappingaround.net.au/home/index.html )I often visit, ….here we go…..

Please feel free to make a card or layout. Now you are probably wondering why I am bothering as no one has sent anything in for a few weeks but hey, to me it keeps my scrapbooking moving and it gets me to think out of the box and if you join me well thats just a bonus. Hey all. There are a couple of cards I made with my first ever stamp set I bought. I still love it as much as the first time I saw it. It’s called Natural Beauty and the greetings came from Family Phrases Stamp set on page 61.

My friend  Kristen,whom I went to high school with had her baby on Monday and so I went to visit her yesterday. She was certain she was going to have a girl, but along came this gorgeous boy. He hasn’t got  a name yet, but soon enough I’m sure….its hard choosing someones name that will stick with them for life. I got a cuddle… you forget how quickly they grow!! Hey everyone just wanted to post the Challenge for this week. I am really into sketches and have been surfing the net lately and have come across some amazing ones. I thought we could give this one a go this week.

Remember you don’t have to use only Stampin’ Up! products, just some.  I will be back with my entry soon also a couple of cards I have been working on this week. Now I must leave you and actually get some good sleep tonight, milk and fruit duties @ kinder in the morning but as promised here is my layout created with our Simply Scrappin kit…you should give them a go, you could create a whole album with just one kit, no joke.
