Can you believe it has been so long since I started this blog. I really enjoy doing it. There is just something about sharing you creations with others…I hope I have been a help over the last year and a half….even if I inspire one person…it would be worth it…

I finished my challenge example..

I love these colours together. The ingredients to make this layout are

Stamps: Fifth Avenue Floral, Short Order Alphabet

Paper: Raspberry Tart

Cardstock: Basic Black, Gong Grey, Old Olive

Ink: Whisper White, Basic Black

Accessories: Watercolour paper, Watercolour Wonder Crayons, Aqua Painter, On Board Timeless Type, Signo Uniball White Gel Pen, Stampin Write Journaler, Crimper, Crystal Effects, Mat Pack,  Rhinestone Brad and Eyelet Border punch.

I had a lovely time tonight with Lyn and her friends. Thanks for having me girls. For a change we made a box for cards or it could be used for anything else really…. I made a few cards and a “special” box for Lyn as a thank you. I really like how it turned out so I thought I would snap some photos of them… enjoy…

I have to say I have had a serious talk to my hubby about moving here… we own a house here, right next door actually but rent it out…. it is such a different life style up here. I realise the summer is a killer but that can be fixed with a pool and air con LOL But he said no…..oh well maybe when we are retired he said.. Too many plans own in Victoria anyways… but whilst we are here, why not take a load of photos…..here’s a couple…you wouldn’t do this in winter down south…

It has been pretty eventful… We arrived on Saturday and was in hospital with Jasmine… got a large deep cut on her forehead from chasing her brother and falling on the stone drive…. oh the blood. As a mother I should be used to it but it just doesn’t sit well with me, especially when it’s one of my babies… She had it glued and was right as rain not long after we got back home

In time to blow out the candles with their Granny (the main reason for our trip)

We are off to the park which is on the beach on Yeppoon…I will take some photos, to show you how beautiful and alluring this place is…. I hope your well and not too cold LOL

Hey everyone, I am still kicking…just been sick and a tad busy. I had the honour of going to see P!nk live in concert on Tuesday night.

Words can’t express what this meant to me. I have been following Pink from the start, going on 9 years, I have all her albums and so many of her songs bring back memories of moments of my life… she truly has been apart of it. I got goose bumps as she emerged out of the stage on a wire…truly an amazing, stunning concert. If was given the chance I would go back time and time again. I have songs recorded on my husbands phone and wanted to put them on here but I’m just not that clever LOL.

Anyways, I have another layout but I am busy packing at the moment…we are heading to North Queensland on Saturday for my mother in laws birthday…. 10 days of warmth, I am actually looking forward to it…I don’t mind a Queensland winter (you will never get me there in Summer again though). So if I don’t pop on for a couple of weeks you know why…Stay warm and keep STAMPIN.

It feels like such a long time since I made a card to show you all. As a scrapbooker I find it a little tricky to start..Scrapbooking you have a photo to get the ball rolling with colours and styles…cards you kinda have to think on your own two feet. Well I am happy to say that this morning I was able to make not one card but two…yes….you can get your jaw off the floor now… and here they are

I don’t know about you all, but we had a very busy, but fun Queens birthday weekend. Instead of rattling on about what we did I thought I would show you some photos of it instead..

Saturday morning, helping my husband finish a set of stairs on Coronet Bay Beach….I got the pleasure (LOL) of filling in the hole…apparently there needs to be at least four stairs under the sand to in case the beach changes…..learn a new thing everyday!

I got to pop over to Corinella for a Art show…in such amazement…I WISH I had the $$$ to buy a piece or two…planning to enter next year myself (personal goal)

Ashton and I headed over to Grantville’s Pirate Festival…super fun for both of us..Man my face is so fat in this pic LOL

And now here we are and the week is nearly over again…I have been so unorganised this week, not much creating going on….only 2 and a half layouts.

Here is one…The Stampin Up! products I used are the white ribbon and gold brads…. I really want to start using more of my stash, otherwise my husband may have to bury me with it LOL

The others are for a project I am working on at the moment. So much to do so little time ….

Speaking of time, we are already a third of the way into the month of June…so if you want to have a go at my challenge, now is a good time to start. We have the first entry by the very talented…
